Sacha and Sukie are the very definition of double trouble!  

These gorgeous girls were found when they were three to four months old, almost frozen to death in the Romanian snow, with their Mum found poisoned close by.

Sukie was the runt of the litter, and struggled with dislocated hips during her puppyhood. She has always been skittish and scared. Sacha is the more confident one, though she still shows signs of fear towards many new situations.

Despite their sad start to life, these two beauties have always been joyful and upbeat. They are energetic and playful to the extreme and this, coupled with their fearfulness, has meant that they’ve been too much for people to handle when they’ve been fostered and adopted together. Splitting them up, while likely to result in successful adoptions, was simply never an option, because they are bonded as tightly as two dogs can be, and so they are now Forever Fosters at Paws2Freedom. The girls are able to live their life together here and any fear issues they may display when walked in public are simply not a problem due to our unusual life style.  

And when we say energetic and playful to the extreme, we mean it! 

Sacha loves to play hide and seek – by herself! She hides in long grass, and behind bushes and furniture (sometimes for ages!), lying in wait for an unsuspecting member of the pack to wander by, and then leaps out to surprise them, looking so pleased with herself! Sacha also loves to chase anything and everything. Her favourite things to chase are one of her friends, Rito, because he loves to run; and of course, seagulls on the beach. One glimpse of white feathers, and she’s off like a shot. She doesn’t seem to mind that she never catches one, the thrill really is in the chase for this girl!

Sukie is even more playful. She runs around in zig zags, chasing anything that moves, acting scatty and adorable. Sukie loves to dig, and she also loves to chase and catch the soil clumps that the other dogs dig up! Watching her bound and leap behind an intently digging dog, twisting and turning as she catches the soil, is an absolute delight! She is utterly tireless, just like her sister.

There truly never is a dull moment with these two around!
