HELGA

Hello everyone, Helga here… and guess what? I’m officially a forever-dog! I’ve found the most wonderful home and I’m living my very best life. Best of all, there are no more changes ahead for me. This is it. I’m home.

My days are pretty fabulous. I potter around my garden, play with my favourite ball, enjoy cuddles and grooming (LOTS of both, please!) and go on lovely walks where I’m allowed to sniff for aaaaaages. Other times I get to meet new dogs and people, which I love too.
My new mum and dad are completely smitten with me… although apparently that works both ways. I’m a big, gentle, goofy lollop who loves being close to my people and I think I’ve landed firmly on all four paws.

The Paws2Freedom humans say I’m honestly one of the easiest and most fabulous dogs they’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and rehoming. I’ll take that! 

A HUGE thank you to Bojan and his team for rescuing me, to Joyce & Amelie, Alan & Bev, and Annette & Steve, who between them showed me love, home life and lots of UK adventures while I waited for this day. And thank you to everyone who followed my journey, shared my posts, supported me and wanted this happy ending for me.

Once upon a time I was an abandoned girl on the streets of Bosnia. Then I became so poorly that nobody knew what my future would hold. So many kind people helped me along the way, and somehow that long journey led me right here… To my own garden. My own favourite ball. My own walks. My own cuddles. And most importantly, my very own mum and dad.

I don’t have to wonder where I’m going next anymore. I’m already there. I’m home. And this time, I get to stay.
