NALA ADOPTION PUPDATE

Paws2Freedom - Meet Nala, young female Lurcher who found her loving forever home in Devon or Cornwall

Hi everyone, it’s me… Nala ️ I just wanted to pop in and tell you how I’m getting on in my home and I think I’m doing really well. Life feels calm and safe now. I’ve settled into my routines, I know my people and I really, really love them. I’m affectionate, relaxed and very much at home (I think I always knew this was where I was meant to be). I still remember my first Christmas here, my very own advent calendar, a stocking full of toys and the feeling that I finally belonged somewhere. It was the best feeling!!!

Since then I’ve been learning so much. I’ve been exploring woods and green spaces near home. At first everything felt big and overwhelming, but now I’m starting to relax, sniff and enjoy just being a dog. My people say they can see me growing in confidence every day. I’m also getting braver with people. When I’m out and about I’m not worried like I used to be. I can even enjoy the attention now!

At home I still like my space (especially near the stairs — that’s mine), but my humans understand me and help me feel safe. We’ve even had a friend come into the house, and I did really well. I’m learning that new things don’t have to be scary, just different.

Oh, and I found out something interesting about myself… I’m a bit of everything! A proper mix — some sighthound (which explains my long legs and zoomies!), with a blend of shepherd, guardy types and even a bit of herding in me too. My people say it makes me wonderfully unique… I quite agree I’m happy. I’m understood. I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. Thank you for helping me get here. Love, Nala ️ x
