MAXI

Hi everyone… it’s me, Maxi!  Life here is busy, in the best possible way. My days are full of adventures, zoomies, cuddles and meeting new people, and apparently I greet everyone with enormous enthusiasm (I like to think of it as charm ). Everyone seems to love me, which is only right, obviously.

When I meet other dogs I can be a tiny bit shy at first – just taking it all in – but I warm up quickly and make friends nicely. I’ve only had lovely, positive experiences which makes me feel safe and happy.

Out in the fields? Oh WOW… I run like the wind! Proper full-speed zoomies! And the best bit? My recall is great, so I get to enjoy all that freedom and come back like a clever girl when I’m called.

At home though, apart from the occasional home-nutsies, I turn into a total lap dog. Yes, really. All I want is cuddles, snuggles and being as close to my mum as possible. My mum says I’m a super character (I couldn’t agree more ) and she thinks that’s thanks to my lovely previous family who gave me such a great start in life. And I must say  I loved the Christmas gifts they sent me too – I felt very special and very spoiled! I have to say: I think I’ve done a pretty good job of choosing my forever human. And between you and me I think she’s realised that I’m definitely hers now. And from the bottom of my very happy, very wiggly heart… THANK YOU to my previous family and their amazing friend and neighbour lady, my wonderful foster family, the Paws2Freedom team and all of you who followed my journey and cheered me on.
